YBC, short for Youth Bowling Canada, brings children together through weekly league play! Every Saturday, youngsters are given the opportunity to socialize with peers, participate in a unique sport, and hone skills that improve daily life. In bowling, nobody warms the bench. A handicap system ensures that players at different skill levels can participate equally. Every member of the team is given his or her chance to shine!
As Canada’s largest YBC member site, NEB’s Fun World provides a safe, positive environment where children and parents alike can relax. We strive to improve the program every season, introducing new activities and events for your entertainment. By awarding achievement through Cresting, we encourage youth to work toward a goal until it is reached. Come May, every bowler is invited to our annual banquet for great food, shiny trophies, and special prizes!
League Overview
• All youth between the ages of 4 and 19 are welcome
• No experience is necessary and you can join at any division level
• Socialize with peers and make new friends
• Regular team play and exciting house tournaments
• Qualified coaches and dedicated volunteers to teach the sport

Divisions
YBC leagues are divided by age so children can make friends in their own peer group.
Bowlasaurus (PeeWee): for ages 4-5 (born January 2005 - December 2006)
Tykes (PeeWee): for ages 6-7 (born 2003 - 2004)
Bantams: for ages 8-10 (born 2000 - 2002)
Juniors: for ages 11-14 (born 1996 - 1999)
Seniors: for ages 15-19 (born 1991 - 1995)
Price
Registration for the 2010 / 2011 season costs $25 for both new and returning bowlers. The registration fee entitles every youth bowler to 1 free game per month – that’s a deal worth $54! New players will be accepted until December 31 /2010, but the earlier you sign-up the better. A weekly “pay as you go” price covers the games bowled, shoe rental, banquet, and most tournament entry money.
Peewees: play 2 games costing $9 / week
Bantams and Juniors: play 3 games costing $11 / week
Seniors: play 3 games costing $12 / week

Schedule
Children bowl every Saturday from September 11 /2010 until April 2011. Time selection is on a first come, first serve basis. Bowling begins at the same time every week unless otherwise stated. In the event of a planned absence, such as a family vacation, we recommend pre-bowling. Pre-bowls must be recorded prior to the date needed and on the correct YBC sheets. However, if you are absent and don’t have any banked scores, a banquet fee of $3 must be paid.
Peewees: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Bantams: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Juniors: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Seniors: Saturday at 1:30pm
