FALL/WINTER LEAGUE INFORMATION
The bowling season starts on Saturday September 12th and ends in April.
YBC, short for Youth Bowling Canada, brings children together through the fun and activity of league play! Every Saturday, youngsters are given the opportunity to socialize with peers, participate in a unique sport, and hone skills that improve daily life. In bowling, nobody warms the bench. A handicap system ensures that players at different skill levels can participate equally. Every member of the 4-person team is given his or her chance to shine!
As Canada’s largest YBC member site, NEB’s Fun World provides a safe, positive environment where children and parents alike can relax. We strive to make the program even better this year, introducing new activities and events for your entertainment. By awarding achievement through Cresting, we encourage youth to work toward a goal until it is met. At the end of the season, every child is invited to the annual banquet with great food and even greater trophies!
Program Highlights:

Divisions:
YBC leagues are divided by age so children can make friends with their peers.
Peewee: for ages 4-7 (born in 2002, 2003, 2004, or 2005)
Bantams: for ages 8-10 (born in 1999, 2000, or 2001)
Juniors: for ages 11-13 (born in 1996, 1997, or 1998)
Seniors: for ages 14-18 (born 1991, 1992, 1993, 1994, or 1995)
Price:
Registration fee for the 2009-2010 season is $20 before May 14th, 2009 and $25 after May 14th, 2009. However, with registration you receive 1 free game of bowling every month – that’s a deal worth $48! New players will be accepted until December 31st, but the earlier you sign up the better. The weekly “pay as you go” price covers the games bowled, shoe rental, banquet, and most tournament entry money.
Peewees: play 2 games costing $8 / week
Bantams and Juniors: play 3 games costing $10 / week
Seniors: play 3 games costing $11 / week
Schedule:
Children bowl every Saturday from September 12th until April. Time selection is on a first come, first serve basis. Bowling begins at the same time every week unless otherwise notified. In the event of a planned absence, like a family vacation, we recommending pre-bowling. Pre-bowling must be recorded prior to the date needed and on the correct YBC sheets. However, if you are absent and don’t have any banked scores, a banquet fee of $3 must be paid before attending.
Peewees: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Bantams: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Juniors: Saturday at 8:45am or 11:00am
Seniors: Saturday at 1:30pm
